The whole nation got to watch the fireworks last night on Sunday Night Baseball. Miguel Cabrera put on a show despite his team falling in the contest. A 4-4 night with three colossal home runs will do that for you. All of them came with two strikes and were either hit to the deepest part of the ball park, or to the opposite field. This massive performance has sparked the discussion about whether or not Cabrera belongs in the discussion of being the best player of a generation. I took the time to compile stats from every hall of fame position player who played their entire career from 1950 to the modern era to see how he compares.
