Found July 09, 2008 on Another Cubs Blog:
Tonight was one of Zambrano's better starts in some time. He held a Reds team that loves to hit against Zambrano to just one hit in 8 innings of work (a home run by Dunn, his 7th off Zambrano in their careers). He struck out 5 and walked none. Zambrano improved to 10-3 with a 2.84 ERA. Since his return from the DL, Zambrano has made 2 starts and has 2 wins. He's thrown 14 innings, allowed only 5 hits, 1 run, 2 walks and 10 strikeouts. He threw 103 pitches tonight. Marmol came in to finish the 9th as the Cubs had a 5-1 lead and after he got 2 outs a single and a couple of walks Lou decided to play it safe and brought in Kerry Wood who threw 1 pitch to end the game and get his 23rd save. It was mentioned in the comments today about having a douchebag tournament. DJ is going to run it from what I could gather, but is interesting in any and all help he can get. Nominations to be in the tournament began flying out in the comments, which is pretty hard to go back through and find. So I'm setting up a poll for this post and you can leave your nominations by clicking on the link to submit comment. You must first vote and then you'll see the Send Comment link. frameborder="0? scrolling="auto" name="douchebag tournament">
