Zubaz pic via the Chicago Cubs. The 2013 Chicago Cubs have the potential for another dreadful season, which means the futility will continue for the storied franchise yet another year, but that shouldn’t stop fans from coming out to Wrigley Field to cheer them on as they quickly plummet to the basement of the NL Central. At the very least Cubbies supporters should make their way to the ballpark for the September 23 game against the Pirates. Not only will ticket holders get to see budding Pirates star Andrew McCutchen, but they’ll also get to partake in what may possibly be the MLB giveaway of the year—nay, of the century—when the Cubs will hold their inaugural Zubaz Night, aka Zubazpalooza 2013. With their special event ticket fans in attendance will get a pair of the Zubaz pants in Chicago Cubs colors picture above, which are perfect for lounging around the house, embarrassing your kids when they have friends over, or wearing the next time you time travel back to the early 90s. But seriously though, I’m betting that with the wonderful cross-section of humanity that graces the bleachers during a typical Cubs game, September 23 might be the only night the product in the stands looks worse than the product on the field.
