Former major league outfielder Aaron Guiel retires
Former major leaguer Aaron Guiel has retired after five seasons in Japanese professional baseball.
The 38-year-old outfielder was limited to 11 games this season with the Yakult Swallows because of a back injury.
He batted .234 with 90 homers and 239 RBIs in 441 games over five seasons in Japan, all with Yakult.
