Your Morning Dump...where Roy Oswalt could be the new Adrian Beltre
Every morning we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
The 34-year-old right-hander is exactly what the Red Sox need. He’s a proven veteran with an extensive track record and a history of big-game experience.
The three-time All-Star has finished in the top six...

2011 World Series: Umpire Blows Call as Cardinals Defeat Rangers in Game 1
This post is dedicated to the capture and eventual death of Libyan Dictator Moammar Gadhafi. Is there anyway Obama can get credit for this? Moving on.
Those dirty, lucky Cardinals squeaked out a victory over the Rangers in Game 1 of the World Series. Of course they got a little help from the umpire.
Check it out.

X-rays negative on Beltre's knee
X-rays of Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre's left knee taken Tuesday night were negative.
Beltre fouled a ball off his knee in the fourth inning and clearly was hobbled by the injury. He remained in the game but was visibly limping with what is being called a bruised knee.

Adrian Beltre Not Entirely Surprised About Terry Francona's Departure as Red Sox Manager
Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre spent his month of September hitting the cover off of the ball while helping the Rangers to the AL West crown. Beltre hit .374 with 12 home runs and 29 RBIs in a surge toward the finish. Adrian Beltre Is Partying Like It’s 2004
After hitting 44 home runs in 2002 and 2003 combined, Adrian Beltre launched 48 home runs in 2004, putting together one of the great seasons any third baseman has ever had. Because his monster season seemingly “came out of nowhere” (despite the fact that he was considered an elite prospect and reached the majors as a teenager), and because he wasn’t able to sustain that kind...

VIDEO: TBS Cameraman Falls Down Goes Boom During Beltre Home Run Trot
Rangers 3b Adrian Beltre mashed three home runs to help Texas oust the Tampa Bay Rays in four games in their ALDS. Of the three dingers Beltre rocked, the first one is by far the most memorable, if only because we get to see a TBS camera guy eat some turf trying to follow the Texas slugger down the third base line.
I’m sure the cameraman didn’t find it all that funny as his...

TBS Cameraman Following Adrian Beltre Falls Down and Goes Boom
You have to give it to the TBS cameraman here for his great hustle behind Adrian Beltre during his first home run trot of the night, there were three total by Beltre. Unfortunately hustle sometimes isn’t enough, and this case was a perfect example. The cameraman reported no major injuries. Beltre’ three straight home runs allowed the Texas Rangers to beat the Tampa...

TBS cameraman wipes out during home run trot
Ha. There is truly nothing like having a profoundly embarrassing moment captured on video and subsequently broadcast on national television, not to mention the litany of views said video will garner on the interwebs in this new modern age. And now, cameraman Tim Burke knows this sad reality all too well. While attempting to get [...]
