Sorry for the lack of updates over the past two days, but we are back in the swing of things today. Perhaps the biggest news I missed over the weekend was the call-up and major league debut of the other Yankees catching prospect, Austin Romine.

Montero Likely to Catch, Romine to Back-Up

Yankees Prospect Austin Romine Out with Mild Concussion
Yankees minor league catcher Austin Romine, one of their top prospects, is out with a mild concussion after he was involved in a collision at home plate this week, according to Jed Weisberger of BaseLines.
There is no word on exactly how much time Romine will miss, but since this is a concussion the Yankees will certainly take it slow with him. Hopefully this is truly a minor issue...

Austin Romine Gets Clutch Hit To Help Thunder Win
(Akron, OH) – Austin Romine connected with a two run single in the top of the 7th inning and the Thunder bullpen held on for a 4-3 win on Saturday afternoon over Akron.
