Dodgers RHP Hawksworth has right elbow surgery
Dodgers reliever Blake Hawksworth has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove scar tissue and shave down a bone spur in his right elbow.
Hawksworth is expected to be sidelined four to six weeks. A team spokesman said Wednesday that Hawksworth should be ready to pitch sometime during spring training and could be on Los Angeles' opening-day roster.

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Blake Hawksworth underwent arthrscopic surgery on his right elbow.
Hawksworth had scar tissue removed and a bone spur shaved down in his elbow during the procedure.
He is expected to need four to six weeks to recover.
Hawksworth made 49 appearances with the Dodgers last season, compiling a 2-5 record and 4.08 ERA.
