Jays Sign Reliever Bobby Korecky
The Blue Jays have added to an already deep bullpen today by signing RHP Bobby Korecky. He is listed at 5’11″ 185 lbs, 31 years old, has 8 minor league seasons under his belt, and most notably has 144 saves to his credit during that time.

Back in Second (Not Anymore)
Call it the first place pressure if you want, but I just don't buy it. Maybe if we were in the final weeks of the season, but with about a month and a half remaining in the season I don't see how there can be much pressure being just a half game in first.
The Twins did make a solid move today adding Everyday Eddie to the bullpen. Whether the move works out in the end...

Korecky gets a hit, win for the Twins Monday
Rookie right-hander Bobby Korecky became the first Minnesota Twins pitcher ever to get a hit in an American League game... oh yeah, he got the win too... a 7-6 12-inning win over the Texas Rangers Monday night at the Metrodome. Korecky is an University of Michigan alum.
