DTW News and Notes
Let’s start with what remains the most pressing question other than Why is Brandon Inge still a Tiger? and that is, who will be pitching on April 15th in the D against the Pale Hose? Due to a silly opening weekend where the Tigers play 3 games in 5 days, I’m guessing that April 15th will be the first day for the 5th spot in the rotation. Future rotation guys Turner...

Dombrowski: Inge still 'very important' to Tigers
Four years ago, Miguel Cabrera was a man on the move, and Brandon Inge was man without a position, hoping to find a starting job somewhere. The trade that was expected that winter never happened, and Inge ended up back at third base. Now, the Tigers and Inge might be back in the same spot.

Inge on third base: I'm not playing for a platoon spot
DETROIT -- Spring training is still a month away but Brandon Inge is already staking his claim to third base.
"I'm not really playing for a platoon spot," Inge said at Comerica Park before the Tigers began their Winter Caravan. "I love (Don) Kelly, I really do. But I'm not playing for a platoon spot. I want to play every day. I've been working this offseason...

Brandon Inge: Attitude Separates Him From Most Big Leaguers
Brandon Inge is a member of the Detroit Tigers. Yes, still. He is a member of the Tigers because he wants to be a member of the Tigers. He is proud to call Detroit his home, and nothing will ever change his mind. Not even after being demoted following his offensive struggles this season.
But most importantly, Inge is a member of the Tigers due to his positive attitude.
Inge was having...

11 Year Inge: The Top 10 Brandon Inge Moments (so far)
Toledo Mudhen Brandon Inge Applies Tag
Halfway through his 11th year as a Detroit Tiger it was clearer than it ever had been that there is nobody else in Detroit sports who more surgically cuts the fans in two than Brandon Inge.
Say what you will about him, but there is no doubt Brandon Inge had some flashes of utter greatness.
As few and as far between as those flashes were, they...

The Brandon Inge era has come to an end
So Brandon Inge is a Detroit Tiger no more. Either he will become a very high priced player for the Toledo Mud Hens, or if the Tigers chose to eat some of his salary, he could wind up somewhere else. We know for sure that the Florida Marlins have some interest.
Brandon was the longest serving Tigers player on the active roster. He has been in Detroit since he was drafted in...

Did Brandon Inge REALLY just say that?
When I read about Brandon Inge’s comments in this article on Mlive tonight I couldn’t believe it. You have to read it for yourself to believe it, so here is the LINK to it, written by Mlive reporter Chris Iott . I think anyone that has read my articles here knows how I feel about Inge, his poor average and how Dave Dombrowski shouldn’t have resigned him. I would...

Brandon Inge can’t even hit Minor League Pitching…Why Are We Activating Him From The Minors????
Brandon Inge, third baseman for the Detroit Tigers, just came off the 15 day DL with mononucleosis. If you’ve notice, on www.detroitsports360.com we have a section called “Brandon Inge” watch. Inge can barely hit .200 for the Tigers and a move has to be made. It is pathetic the Tigers paid him $11 million over two years when he can hardly hit the baseball. He...
