Pittsburgh Pirates trade OF Brandon Jones to the Detroit Tigers for PTBNL

Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com says the Pittsburgh Pirates have traded outfielder Brandon Jones to the Detroit Tigers for a player to be named later. Jones, 26, did not play for the Pirates this season. In three seasons with the Atlanta Braves, he hit .257/.313/.365 in 51 career games. He has been assigned to the Tigers’ Double-A Erie SeaWolves.
