Phillips Garners Yet Another Award

Brandon Phillips was named a 2011 Silver Slugger Award winner on Wednesday. He is the first Reds player to win the coveted award since Felipe Lopez in 2005.
The two-time All-Star batted .300 with 18 homers, 82 RBI and a career high 38 doubles during the 2011 campaign.

Reds 2B Phillips doesn't think he's staying
Second baseman Brandon Phillips said he doesn't think he will be staying with the Cincinnati Reds after this season.
Phillips, 29, is in his sixth straight season as Cincinnati's starting second baseman. He was an All-Star a year ago and is batting .281 with five homers and 36 RBI this season.
