Blue Jays ink Johnson, Villanueva, Francisco to deals
The Toronto Blue Jays signed second baseman Kelly Johnson, righthander Carlos Villanueva and outfielder Ben Francisco to one-year contracts on Tuesday.
Johnson's deal is for $6.375 million, Villanueva will earn $2.3 million and Francisco will receive $1.537 million.
Johnson, 29, posted a .270 average with three homers and nine RBIs during his time with Toronto last season....
