Orioles 1B Davis won't undergo hernia surgery
Baltimore Orioles infielder Chris Davis will not undergo sports hernia surgery as was expected.
Davis told MLB.com that he saw a specialist last week and was told surgery was not necessary.
Davis said the treatment for the injury calls for rest and rehabilitation.
He split last season between the Orioles and Texas Rangers, batting .266 with five home runs and 19 RBIs
