Arbitration Numbers to be exchanged on Tuesday
In today’s print edition of the Enquirer, John Fay writes an article detailing the Reds arbitration eligible players (Votto, Cueto, Volquez, and Bray). He believes Votto could be awarded (if it goes to arbitration) as much as $10M (Ryan Howardish numbers) and that Bray could double his $420,000 2010 salary and that Cueto and Volquez could be in between.

Mariners, Reitsma still at odds
The Seattle Mariners and Chris Reitsma are still at odds. Reitsma is still not willing to accept his assignment to AAA-Tacoma. On the other side, the Mariners still aren't willing to give him his release like he wants. The team holds all the chips in this battle and its very unlikely for Reitsma to get his way.

Mariners Rhodes, Reitsma go AAA or retire
Seattle Mariners relief pitchers Arthur Rhodes and Chris Reitsma both are in a sticky situation right now. Both players are coming off injuries and the team would like them both to spend some extra time in the minors getting back their strength. Seattle actually has told them this and neither player has much of an option in the matter.
