Your Morning Dump... where Reyes went wild
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
If the Red Sox make their first roster move of the season today or tomorrow, it would not be a surprise. Dennys Reyes has been that bad.
The lefthanded reliever has faced 10 batters in the first five...

With Reyes Deal Falling Through, Phillies Sign Romero
Well it looks like the Phillies have made another move, "solving" bullpen woes once again. However, this time it is not the physical-failing Dennys Reyes they have signed, but a familiar face in J.C. Romero. Romero has played with the Phillies since midway through the '07 season. The Phillies actually declined his $4.5 million contract option in 2011 earlier this...

The Dennys Reyes Contract
Remember when the Phillies signed Dennys Reyes to a one year, $1.1 million deal before it fell through? Reports are that he failed his physical, although Phillies assistant GM Scott Proefrock would only say that, "We were not able to finish it off." And Reyes' agent Oscar Suarez merely said the deal "hit a snag."We here at WSBGMs decided to get to the bottom of this and deployed...

Obvious Jokes Abound as Dennys Reyes Fails Physical
Of course, maybe he didn’t fail it per se, but we were at the point in our relationship with Dennys that all that stood in our way was a physical. If we can just slide this feast of fat jokes off the table for a second, let’s consider something: Dennys Reyes is a hefty dude. Maybe he fell off the treadmill. Maybe Ruben looked away for a second and Dennys had eaten...

Dennys Reyes Signing Eclipsed as Thing From My Dreams Happens
Midnight off the coast of Monterrey, CA.
Moonlight kisses the beach as the ocean laps casually off the sand. The world is quiet here; a graceful fog allows infrequent headlights on the road above to gently pierce the air. The sky is preparing for a meteor shower. In this place, the world’s turbulence and flaws have made a hasty exit, allowing serenity to seep in and take...

Phillies Need To Stay Away From Dennys Reyes
There’s a reason Dennys Reyes has played for 10 teams over his 14-year career.
Having played for nearly one-third of the teams in Major League Baseball, Reyes, a 36-year old journeyman, is reportedly being sought after the Philadelphia Phillies.
From what I’ve seen on Reyes, there’s one thing that makes me cringe at the sight of him [...]

It is Dennys Reyes’ Turn to Get Phillies’ Promiscuous Interest
Just like you, the Phillies are using Black Friday to show interest in things. But instead of that set of 350 Cincinnati Bengal tube socks for $4.75, the Phils are holding a brand new lefty reliever in their hands, wandering if they can truly rationalize bringing another one home, despite having a very strict list to follow from the wife.
Its Dennys Reyes.
Sure, the lefty reliever...
