Game 69 – Masterpiece Theater: Doug Davis Edition
Doug Davis surprised everyone in the stadium by turning in a 7+ inning performance that yielded just one run to the NEW YORK YANKEES. Don't look now, but the Cubs won four of five during the work week.

Pitchers Doug Davis and Todd Wellemeyer made their 2011 debuts down on the farm Thursday ... and it appears Doug Davis could be very close to making his first start in a Cubs' uniform.
Doug Davis started for the Daytona Cubs (High Low Class-A) and picked up a win for the 20-8 D-Cubs (5-0 victory over the Tampa Yankees). Davis tossed 6 2/3 innings of shutout ball, allowed two...

Brewers Doug Davis Waiting in Wings
This weekend, Manager Ken Macha could have announced what role Doug Davis would play for the pitching staff and how that might affect the rest of the roster. Instead, Ken Macha announced Doug Davis will most likely make a start for the team sometime before the All Star break. Doug Davis hopes to return in less than 3 weeks, has awesome wife
Doug Davis hasn't had the best start to his Brewers season. He wasn't that good, but he was also extremely unlucky with a 3+ run difference in his ERA and FIP. Then he got hurt when his heart was bleeding and he had to get a transplant from someone who died, but it turned out that man was actually evil and Doug had to fight him for control of his soul. Now, it looks like...

Free Agent at the End of the Season: Doug Davis
I'm a huge fan of Doug Davis. There is no way that Davis should be considered an ace or even a front line starting pitcher because his stuff is simply not that dominant. While Davis might not be the first choice for many teams, he's exactly the kind...
