The Dodgers and Doug Mientkiewicz have agreed to a minor league deal with an invitation to big league camp. Mientkiewicz is a .271 career hitter with 66 career homeruns. Well, everyone has been complaining that the Pirates front office hasn't done anything of significance this year, and, well, they still haven't. However, Pirates.com does report that the Bucs have signed 1B Doug Mientkiewicz to a minor league contract.
