Fantasy Baseball – The Walking Dead
In honour of the return of AMC’s The Walking Dead, I thought it would be a good opportunity to look at baseball’s walking wounded. These players are coming off injury riddled seasons, and are expected to play prominent roles for their teams. Are they worthy of a spot on your roster, or should we ignore them and make sure they don’t come back to bite us?

McGowan’s Debut The Bright Spot Amidst Blowout Loss For Blue Jays
While the whole of last night’s Blue Jays game against the Red Sox wasn’t really much to write home about (Perez got beat up, Lester pitched a gem in a 0-14 loss for the Jays), but overshadowing that depressing mess of a game for the home team was the debut of Dustin McGowan, who can finally call himself a major league pitcher again after 3+ years of rehab work.

Dustin McGowan On The Mend, Could Pitch For Blue Jays This Season
The Blue Jays have had a few key pitchers in the past couple of years who have had to battle back to the big leagues through major injuries (Shaun Marcum and Jesse Litsch comes to mind); but perhaps none have had a longer road back than Dustin McGowan, the hard throwing righty who was once considered the Blue Jays heir apparent to Roy Halladay after he compiled a solid first full...
