Eric Milton is out for the season for the Los Angeles Dodgers
Veteran lefty starting pitcher Eric Milton will miss the rest of the 2009 season due to back surgery. This is a shame as Milton worked his way back to the majors after many injuries earning a spot in the Dodgers’ rotation. Now he will be back to the drawing board. Milton pitched [...]

Game 75 Thread: June 27 vs. Mariners, 7p
MANNYWATCH: 5 GAMES
DODGERS' RECORD WITHOUT MANNY: 27-18
Eric Milton (2-0, 2.89) vs. Felix Hernandez (7-3, 2.74).
COMMENTS: Milton has pitched capably in four starts for the Dodgers, but tonight's "A" storyline is about King Felix. Hernandez has lost once to the Dodgers, but that was in 2006. Back then he was 20 years old and green; now, writers marvel at...

Milton Mauls Cubs: Dodgers 8, Cubs 2
A game that was really never in doubt after the Dodgers hit five straight singles to open the first (and scored five in that same frame), the Cubs never mounted any serious threat as Sean Marshall failed to go to his curve, Eric Milton got a relatively easy win, and the Dodgers managed a split at Wrigley.

Searching for a Wang Replacement
It's time for the Yankees to replace their Wang and to do so will require an exhaustive search. First up, the losers that the Yankees used to have that sucked are free and could come back.A) Dreamweaver - He's a free Agent. Why? Because he had a 6+ ERA in the minors. In his last year with the Yanks he had a 5.99 ERA. Last season after intelligently declining a multi year...

Reds should look to trade for pitching
As far as this year's meetings, I believe the Reds will entertain many offers for player trades. One reason is that a few million dollars come off the Cincinnati books with the departure of Eric Milton's three-year, $25.5 million contract. Plus, $5 million more dollars are made available as the team payed off salary commitments to former Reds Rheal Cormier and Jason LaRue.....
