Should the Giants go after Felipe Lopez?
Lopez might be a good fit in San Francisco. The last time the San Francisco Giants plucked a Tampa Bay Rays player off the waiver wire, it worked wonders. Can they catch lightning in a bottle again?

I think the San Francisco Giants should make a run at him.

Felipe Lopez Pulled for Lack of Hustle
Tampa Bay Rays manager Joe Maddon is fun and chill guy (when he’s not ejecting umpires), but he does have one rule: players must hustle. We saw that rule broken and become a problem for B.J. Upton last season, and the latest victim appears to be Felipe Lopez. Lopez has been filling in at third [...]

It’s a fitting considering the Cards luck this season. Lopez represents everything that was wrong with this Cardinals...

Just Another Reason to Hate Tony LaRussa
Ahem, I hate Tony LaRussa. Now let’s proceed.
Felipe Lopez took one for the team 10 days ago, when he pitched 1 inning in relief against he New York Mets. The game lasted 20 innings, and the Cards manager didn’t want to use up all his arms with another game left to play in their series that weekend. Lopez, a player that has the ability to play multiple positions, took...

Felipe Lopez lifts Cards over Mets with grand slam
All winter, the Cardinals were looking to add a final piece to the puzzle. The team they had assembled was a talented group in all phases of the game. But something was missing. There were holes in the Redbird armor. They lacked depth in key areas and still needed a threat off the bench.
All winter, [...]
