Phillies starter J.D. Durbin failed to record an out as the Florida Marlins routed him for 7 runs in the 1st inning enroute to a 12-6 drubbing of the Phils in game two of their series. The loss ended the Phillies 6 game winning streak which included a 4 game sweep of the NL East leading Mets.

The Phillies placed pitchers Francisco Rosario, Mike Zagurski and Scott Mathieson on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 21st. Zagurski and Mathieson have been injured all spring, so the move comes as no surprise for them, but this is the first I have heard that Rosario was injured.   more...
