Bullpen decision could be tough

Clip Show: Keeping an Eye on the Tribe’s AAA Squad - 5/26/09
After a 9-1 streak, the Clippers found themselves finally above .500 (22-20) heading into Saturday’s action. All of this solid baseball came in spite of the vultures up in Cleveland picking over their roster (David Huff, their best starter; Greg Aquino, their best reliever; LaPorta, their best hitter, etc.). And then, they ran into a [...]

LOLTribe: Adam Rosales... Doesn't play for Cleveland, but I wish he did

Indians Sign Saarloos and Aquino to Minor League Contracts
Mark Shapiro continued his barrage of off season moves on Wednesday when he signed pitchers Kirk Saarloos and Greg Aquino to minor league contracts. The Indians have been busier this off season than most in their recent history as they have already made a few trades and signed various players to many different contracts.
Both Saarloos and Aquino received invitations to spring training...

Indians Sign RP
HAHNot what you thought though.Indians sign RHP Greg Aquino Aquino was a league average reliever not too long ago. Last season played out much like 2007 though, with most of the season spent in Triple-A, and a handful of innings in the majors. Aquino didn't show his groundball inducing skills last season, but encouragingly did get a good percentage of swinging strikes in Norfolk...
