Most of this off-season, I’ve been hoping the Indians trade Jason Donald.
This stance developed for two main reasons, neither of which had anything to do with a lack of confidence in Jason Donald.

Indians call up INF Donald from Columbus
The Cleveland Indians have recalled infielder Jason Donald from Triple-A Columbus.
Donald will take the roster spot of Orlando Cabrera, who was traded to San Francisco on Saturday. Donald was batting .310 with four home runs and 15 RBIs in 47 games at Columbus. He began the season on the disabled list because of a broken hand and later was sidelined with a sprained left knee.

Donald To Have Surgery, Phils Lose A Trade Chip
MLB.com's Todd Zolecki reports that Phillies' infield prospect Jason Donald will have surgery on Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. The Morning Call says that he could miss up to six weeks, which means he could be on the shelf until the trade deadline.
