Detroit Tigers designate Jeff Larish for assignment
According to the Detroit Tigers official Twitter feed, the Tigers will designate Jeff Larish for assignment. The move was made when the Tigers purchased the contract of Jeff Frazier from Toledo.
Larish was added to the 40-man roster last Sunday.

Just moments after the Tigers latest loss– a 4-2 decision in Tampa, completing a four game sweep for the Rays– the team announced via their twitter account that first baseman Jeff Larish will be DFA’s tomorrow in order to make room on the 40-man (and active) roster for Outfielder Jeff Frazier, who will have his contract purchased from AAA Toledo.

Analysis: Breaking down today’s roster decisions
Today's roster decisions pretty much wrapped up nearly 2 months (and in some cases even more) of speculation. There is one spot yet to be decided. That will go to either Jeff Larish or Brent Clevlen, though the Tigers are reportedly in trade talks with the Pirates regarding Clevlen.
