Indians Interested In Gobble, Not Ryan

Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer says that the Indians are not interested in signing BJ Ryan even though they nearly signed him four years ago. Instead, he says the Indians are interested in Jimmy Gobble, who was just designated for assignment by the White Sox. If the Indians do acquire Gobble, Hoynes says he would be assigned to AAA. Gobble allowed 14 hits and seven walks...

Game 100: Tigers at Royals

PREGAME: The Tigers will try and score some more runs, providing they aren't too tired from circling the bases last night. They won't have Jimmy Gobble to beat up because he's now on the DL. The Tigers are facing Kyle Davies who they have a tangential relationship with. The Royals decided [...]SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: "Game 100: Tigers at Royals", url...

Jimmy Goble's disastrous inning

I usually don't like to recap games. I'm not good at it and I prefer to show some T & A. That said, the Royals-Tigers game last night was absolutely hilarious. Jimmy Goble, who pitched in relief for the Royals endured one of the worst innings in Major League History. Goble 1.0 IP 7H 10R 10ER 4BB I'm no Bill James but I'm pretty sure that makes his...
