Dodgers Close To Agreement With Josh Bard
The Dodgers have agreed to sign Josh Bard to a one-year deal worth about $750K, tweets Jon Heyman. Dylan Hernandez tweets that it's a minor league contract, oh thank God! Hernandez is also tweeting that the Dodgers are still talking to other catchers and the Bard deal is "not a slam dunk."
Not sure what is going on here, but apparently A.J. Ellis, Matt Treanor...

Slow Day 2 at Winter Meetings for Dodgers

Jon Heyman first reported it as a 1-year, $750,000 deal.Bard is a catcher and the Dodgers had seemingly filled the need by signing Matt Treanor last month. But here comes Dylan Hernandez to save us all from throwing...

2010 in Review: Josh Bard

It is now 2010. Josh Bard, who has since become much, much worse, was worth 0.3 WAR over 126 plate appearances. His strikeout-to-walk ratio...

Rob Johnson Vs. Adam Moore Vs. Josh Bard
If you’re willing to make the assumption that Eliezer Alfonzo isn’t going to factor into the Major League catching situation, which I am, it comes down to Rob Johnson, Adam Moore, and Josh Bard, all competing for two spots. While the catching situation isn’t going to be quite as screwy as the left field situation, [...]
