We here at WSBGMs love us a Phucco. However, if Josh Fogg makes it into the elite company of Andy Van Slyke and Dan Plesac we'll be less than thrilled. The Phillies inked Fogg to a minor league deal yesterday for some depth in the system. If they were looking to stockpile craptastic pitchers, then BINGO!, they found their man. Fogg may have rolled up a 3.74 ERA last year...

Mets Release Josh Fogg
I apologize for not posting in a bit, been extremely busy. Had some things to take care of.
Anyways, the Mets have released P Josh Fogg at Fogg’s request. He did not throw one pitch for the Mets in spring training due to a muscle injury.

Mets Release Josh Fogg, Is R.A. Dickey Next?
According to Adam Rubin of the Daily News, the Mets have released RHP Josh Fogg.
Fogg, who signed a minor league deal with the Mets in January, did not appear in a Grapefruit League game with the Mets this spring and so he requested his release to give him some time to catch on with another team.
R.A. Dickey is looking more and more like the next pitcher the Mets might cut bait...
