JOSH FOGG RUMORS & GOSSIP

Haven't the Foggiest

We here at WSBGMs love us a Phucco. However, if Josh Fogg makes it into the elite company of Andy Van Slyke and Dan Plesac we'll be less than thrilled. The Phillies inked Fogg to a minor league deal yesterday for some depth in the system. If they were looking to stockpile craptastic pitchers, then BINGO!, they found their man. Fogg may have rolled up a 3.74 ERA last year...

Mets Release Josh Fogg

I apologize for not posting in a bit, been extremely busy. Had some things to take care of. Anyways, the Mets have released P Josh Fogg at Fogg’s request. He did not throw one pitch for the Mets in spring training due to a muscle injury.

Fogg is an example that it's not all the teams fault...

Reports indicate that Josh Fogg will be granted his full release ( source Daily News ), it's a shame that we couldn't keep Fogg, not for a current roster spot but more as a call-up candidate.Fogg is mentally tough and the Mets have too many fragile pitchers, he's the type of guy who his own teammates can be busting his chops and he'll go out, un-rattled to give you...

Mets Release Josh Fogg, Is R.A. Dickey Next?

According to Adam Rubin of the Daily News, the Mets have released RHP Josh Fogg. Fogg, who signed a minor league deal with the Mets in January, did not appear in a Grapefruit League game with the Mets this spring and so he requested his release to give him some time to catch on with another team. R.A. Dickey is looking more and more like the next pitcher the Mets might cut bait...

Is Fogg injured...

There are 15 pitchers scheduled to throw between Monday and Thursday but Josh Fogg is not one of them. Adam Rubin reports that the Mets are being overly conservative with even mild injuries and that they're telling Fogg to wait. But what is Fogg's injury, there never was an original report that he was injured, not that I see Fogg playing a big role for this team but I also...
