According to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff has elected free agency after clearing waivers.
The Rockies acquired Kouzmanoff from the Athletics late in August. Kouzmanoff hit .235/.284/.372 with 7 HR's and 33 RBI's in 234 AB's for the Athletics and Rockies in 2011.
