Thoughts on Millwood
Veteran right-hander Kevin Millwood will have a shot at making the Mariners' rotation this spring, according to Seattle general manager Jack Zduriencik.
When Millwood was with the Indians he won the American League ERA title in 2005 at 2.86. Wedge was his boss then. We'll see if he can re-create some magic.
We'll see. I think the rotation is pretty crowded. But...

Veteran starting pitcher Kevin Millwood will be joining the Seattle Mariners in Spring Training.
Kevin Millwood has signed a minor-league contract with the Seattle Mariners. He will likely earn a spot on the big league roster and in the rotation. Millwood isn't amazing and he isn't terrible — he's average. So, expect average and maybe some better numbers since he's...

Colorado Rockies need to re-sign Kevin Millwood
Don't expect him to be an ace. Don't expect him to be dominant. Don't expect awe inspiring pitching. Do expect Kevin Millwood to be the Colorado Rockies fifth starter in 2012. After another extremely impressive start from the veteran, the Rockies should have seen enough of him to know that he still has what it takes to be in a big league rotation. Before the Rockies signed him in...

In search of starting pitching depth the Boston Red Sox have turned to a pitcher recently cast off by the Yankees, Kevin Millwood, and signed him to a minor-league deal, according to Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports.
When Millwood was with the Yankees he was effective in the minor leagues, but his fastball was only clocking in the mid-80′s and they didn’t not believe his stuff...

SP Kevin Millwood exercises opt-out clause; becomes free agent. [5/1]
Millwood signed a minor league deal with the Yankees during the final week of March after spending weeks flirting with the Indians. After all the chatter about whether Millwood would accept a minor league deal or not, the Yankees floated a large enough carrot to persuade him. Amongst the benefits...

Kevin Millwood Says ‘Good Bye’ to the New York Yankees
The New York Yankees signed Kevin Millwood to a minor league deal prior to the start of the regular season, but he has decided to exercise the opt-out clause and become a free agent.
Millwood was not pitching particularly well as his 4.50 ERA in 16 Double and Triple-A innings would indicate (to be fair, he didn’t give up any runs in his one Double-A start). Furthermore, the...

Millwood Opts Out Of Yankees Deal
I guess Kevin Millwood didn't have the patience to stay with the New York Yankees. He officially opted out of his deal that kept him in the minors. Millwood's minor league deal called for an opt out if he wasn't called up from the minors by May 1. That day has came and he's gone.
Millwood is now a free agent and I know of a couple of teams that could use his services, even though...
