Puebla coach resigns after loss (AP)
Puebla coach Jose Luis Sanchez Sola has resigned after Puebla's 4-1 loss to Pumas, saying he is upset with the loss and the turmoil surrounding the ownership of the club. Francisco Bernat, club president, was arrested on Thursday on charges of fraud involving 30 million pesos ($2.3 million). He was released on Saturday after agreeing to sell his 51 percent of the club shares to Ricardo Henaine.

April 13, 1982 was a long day at Anaheim Stadium as the California Angels beat the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in 20 innings. Don Baylor was 5-9 in the game and Bob Boone drove in two in the win. Luis Sanchez pitched the final 4 2/3 innings allowing no runs and one hit for the win. The 20 innings tied the longest for the Angels as they also went 20 innings at Oakland on July 9, 1971...
