The Michael Morse 38 Special T-Shirt
While you're sitting around measuring the shift in the balance of power in the NL East after the Nationals signed Mark Teahen to a minor-league deal today, and being thankful that there are only 13 days left until Nats pitchers and catchers report to camp, up there is an ad for the Michael Morse 38 Special shirt from the 22 Fresh Michael Morse collection. Could Fukudome be last option from outside...
About a week ago the Mets were supposedly in the market for a LHB off the bench and in a good spot to grab who they wanted. A week has passed and three lefties have signed minor league deals elsewhere; Juan Pierre, Rick Ankiel and Mark Teahen are all off the board. So now it's down to Damon, Ibanez and Fukudome still on the open market. While he's a perfect fit I don'...

Blue Jays Part Ways With Mark Teahen, Officially Adds Oliver
This is probably as amicable a goodbye as it gets.
The Blue Jays announced earlier today that they have DFA’d veteran corner infielder Mark Teahen, eating the remainder of his $5.5 million salary for the 2012 season so that he may find a job elsewhere. The move opens up a spot for the addition of 41-year old lefty Darren Oliver, who officially joins the Toronto bullpen with...

Blue Jays Drop Canadian Third Baseman!
No, it's not Brett Lawrie. To make room for Darren Oliver the Blue Jays have designated Mark Teahen for assignment. The Blue Jays will trade or release Teahen after the prescribed waiting period, which is ten days I think.Teahen's status change is not a surprise, there is no spot for him on the 2012 squad. I assume AA has been trying to deal him with no success. The Jays...

Mark Teahen Leaves Camp
Third baseman Mark Teahen left the White Sox spring training facility Friday morning, sent home by manager Ozzie Guillen.
Guillen said Teahen was dealing with a health issue within his family and didn’t want him distracted on the field.
He has some family problems. That’s the reason we sent him home. Not problems, but health problems. I don’t want him to be thinking about...

Mark Teahen Out, Brent Morel In At Third
In a very necessary move, manager Ozzie Guillen finally benched Mark Teahen and gave recent call-up Brent Morel the start at third in the finale of the 10 game road trip against the Tigers.
Teahen has struggled both offensively and defensively lately but committing two errors last night, essentially causing the White Sox to lose after the errors lead to 4 runs, was the straw that...

Chicago White Sox Needs To Make Major Changes At 3rd Base
After Mark Teahen committed two more errors tonight that in effect gave the Tigers the win tonight, there needs to be some major changes done at 3rd base right now and also in the future.
When the White Sox traded for Mark Teahen it was supposed to be a major upgrade to that of “beloved” 3rd baseman Josh Fields. Teahen could hit better than Fields, he could field the...

Broken Finger for Teahen
The Chicago White Sox place Mark Teahen on the disabled list due to a broken finger. Teahen was doing a better job getting on base this year than in his recent history, but that was coupled with a drop in his already low power. Their replace appears to be Brent Lillibridge, who is even a worse hitter.
