Angels 1B Trumbo cleared for baseball activities
Los Angeles Angels first baseman Mark Trumbo has been medically cleared to resume baseball activities.
Trumbo had his rookie season curtailed after he suffered a broken bone in his right foot.
The 26-year-old Trumbo batted .254 with 29 home runs and 87 RBIs, but he enters the season without a position after the Angels signed Albert Pujols to a 10-year contract in the offseason.

Every time I read this sentence it makes me want to shake my laptop uncontrollably. I mean sure, that?s a lot of good/potentially good players for a few positions, but this is only healthy...

Return of Angels slugger Mark Trumbo delayed again
Mark Trumbo said Wednesday that the stress fracture in his right foot will take about five months to heal, an extended timetable that will push the Angels slugger's rehabilitation right up to the start of spring training in late February.

The Trade Market for Mark Trumbo
With the Angels acquisition of Albert Pujols along with the presence of Bobby Abreu at DH and Kendrys Morales on the mend, Rookie of the Year runner up, Mark Trumbo, doesn’t seem to have a place to play. And, no, he’s not a legitimate option at third base. According to Baseball Reference, Trumbo did not play a single game at third base in the minors and he only played a total...
