2011 Minor League Coaching Staff Announced
The 2011 Minor League coaching staff will include former Dodgers Matt Herges and Jody Reed as coaches. Bruce Hines returns as Field Coordinator after the Dodgers were named Topps’ Organization of the Year in his first season. Charlie Hough, pitching coach at Inland Empire, and Gene Clines, minor league hitting coordinator , will join P.J. Carey as Senior Advisors, Player Development.

Rockies Re-Sign C Torrealba, P Herges
Troy E. Renck and Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post are reporting that C Yorvit Torrealba and pitcher Matt Herges returned to Denver today to take physicals for the team and that they have signed with the team. Both deals could be announced as early as tomorrow.
