Melky Mesa, the center and right fielder for the Trenton Thunder, can’t seem to catch a break this year with the 2011 Yankee minor league team. After beginning this season with a rocky start at bat, Mesa’s year seemed to take another strike; he retained an injury that kept him from taking any more swings for awhile.
