So it appears that Dusty Baker has decided that Micah Owings needs to come out of the bullpen, in a “special, two-way role.” I don’t necessarily have a problem with that; Owings has been serviceable as a #5 starter, but he was certainly nothing spectacular.

Reds and Pirates tonight, in Pittsburgh. Micah Owings makes his first start since returning from the disabled list, and I know we’re all hopeful that he can hit three homers tonight. Otherwise, the Reds may get shut out.
