Take a Flyer on Miggy?
What's to lose?Miguel Tejada is training in Miami as he looks to make a comeback, reports Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com (on Twitter). The 37-year-old was designated for assignment by the Giants in August after hitting .239/.270/.326 in 343 plate appearances. I'd be surprised if there was no gas left in Miggy's tank.Alert readers have probably already noticed the other...

ROWENGARTNER!
Cubs fan throws Tejada homer back to him
Miguel Tejada receives his own home run ball upon crossing the plate after a Cubs fan makes a pretty incredible throw to return it to the field. San Francisco beat the Cubs 13-7 at Wrigley Field, and took down a doubleheader the same day. This is oddly similar to “Rookie of the Year’s” story-line, and the Cubs could use any help they can get right now.

Cubs Fan Better Player Than Cubs
The Chicago Cubs are 16 games under .500 and lost both games of a doubleheader yesterday, but at least their fans have been solid in the field.
It happened in the ninth inning of San Francisco’s 13-7 victory in the first game of the day-night twofer: Miguel Tejada disproved all known logic and science by hitting a ball into the left field bleachers at Wrigley Field, and a...

Cubs fan throws homerun ball back, almost reaches the plate
That Cubs fan had quite the Henry Rowengartner moment at Wrigley Field Tuesday afternoon. He didn’t quite rocket it all the way to home plate, but that was quite the effort. He probably has a stronger arm than Juan Pierre to be honest. It was also a much more impressive display from a Cubs fan [...]

Offensive Outburst Decides Game 1 of Giants, Cubs Doubleheader
The San Francisco Giants opened Game 1 of a day-night doubleheader with a 13-7 win over the Chicago Cubs.
San Francisco Giants vs. Chicago Cubs: Series Finale Rained Out
The Giants’ offense put up an atypically strong performance.
Every member of the starting lineup got at least one hit, pitcher Ryan Vogelsong included. They rapped out a season-high 18 hits.
Six of them got...

Miguel Tejada: Dead Cat Bounce or a Real Resurgence
It would be an understatement to say that Miguel Tejada hasn't done too well for the Giants this season but lately he seems to be playing better. So is this the real deal or just a dead cat bounce?
Since May 30th Tejada has played 10 games and put up a respectable .280/ .333/ .380 line. The power production isn't what you would want from a third baseman but it sure beats...

Is Miguel Tejada Just a Victim of Bad Luck?
Prepare yourselves for the most obvious statement of the year; Miguel Tejada is struggling and has played very poorly for the Giants this season.
The next most important question is this the end or is there a reason to be optimistic that this is just a rough patch that he will come out of.
To a certain extent Tejada has been the victim of some bad luck but even taking that into...

Did Miguel Tejada invent "The Claw"?
Whatever happened to the high five?I was reading the Wall Street Journal the other day and came across an article by Brian Costa that talked about "The Claw" -- you know, that gesture we saw Vladimir Guerrero and some of the other Texas Rangers use during last year's World Series?
Anyway, the article mentioned how Mets shortstop Jose Reyes (who has been rumored to be coming...

Tejada comes up big in the 9th!
Miguel Tejada looks like he is happy to be back in the Bay Area. After he homered in his first AB at AT&T (As a member of the Giants) he came up with a huge 2 out, 2 RBI double in the 9th inning to send the Giants home winners on the day that they received their World Series champion rings. During the ring ceremony Tejada, and Brandon Belt, took part in the team picture where...
