Yes, I absolutely appreciate everything that Mike Timlin has done for the Boston Red Sox. He has been an anchor in the bullpen for years, helping the team win two World Series in addition to making the playoffs two other times. Mike Timlin gets stitches on his pitching hand
Timlin received a few stitches on his pitching hand's ring finger today. He cut open the finger fielding a comebacker to the mound during Wednesday's exhibition game. Francona said a stint on the DL is unlikely for Mike but its unsure whether he will pitch in Japan or not.

Sell high on Timlin
So I'm watching the game and Timlin is pitching well. To be honest, he has pitched well for awhile now. Ever since coming off the DL, he has really has only had one hiccup at Seattle. So why am i selling on Timlin? He is getting extremely lucky. This is a perfect example of why stats are important. Timlin looks great but with what he is doing, he should be doing significantly...
