Rangers acquire IF Green in trade with Orioles
The Texas Rangers acquired utility infielder Nick Green and cash from the Baltimore Orioles for lefthander Zach Phillips on Tuesday.
Green was promptly assigned to Triple-A Round Rock. The 32-year-old was hitting .208 with 10 homers and 46 RBIs for Triple-A Norfolk this season.
He has played with seven teams during his major-league career.
