The Terrible Month at Second is Over « Bay City Ball | Giants Baseball with a Side of STATS!
The Giants got an entire month of a platoon that produced a wOBA of .231. In essence, there’s as much difference between that and Keppinger/Fontenot...

Tuesday: Phils express ‘moderate’ interest in Lowry
Left-hander Noah Lowry, 29, was expected to throw before Major League scouts today, the Phillies among them, but postponed his session to allow more time to prepare. Lowry posted a 40-31 record and 4.03 ERA (109 ERA+) over five seasons with the Giants, going 14-8 with a 3.92 ERA (114 ERA+) in his last healthy season in 2007. He’s missed the last two seasons battling thoracic outlet...

Everybody Just Needs to Give Noah Lowry a God Damn Second
Well, the guy hasn't pitched since 2007, so it makes sense. But if scouts show up to this thing and "Noah Lowry" turns out to just be a newly sensible Chan Ho Park wearing a disguise, I can't imagine anyone will stick around for very long. Maybe the Mets.

Playing The Role of Jason Schmidt...Noah Lowry?
That's right, the Dodgers' fascination with questionable former San Francisco Giants arms continues, as Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com broke yesterday (1/26 8:41a ET) that Noah Lowry will be working out for the Dodgers and other scouts next Tuesday:

Noah Lowry To Sign Soon
Henry Schulman of The San Francisco Chronicle (hat tip to mlbtraderumors) tweeted that Noah Lowry could be close to choosing which team to play for in 2010.
Lowry hasn’t pitched since 2007 when he won 14 games and posted an ERA of 3.92, due to thoracic outlet syndrome, which was originally misdiagnosed by the Giants.

Noah Lowry Might Be Close To Picking A Team
Free agent southpaw Noah Lowry may be close to picking his next team, tweets Henry Schulman of The San Francisco Chronicle. He jokes that it's not the Giants. Plenty of teams have expressed interest in the lefty, including the Padres, Reds, Dodgers, and several others. Lowry lasted pitched in the big leagues back in 2007 because of thoracic outlet syndrome.

…. Tough loss
There were multiple times when I wrote that we all needed to realize that the problems plaguing Noah Lowry were career-threatening. It now appears that his Giants career –at least– is over:
…. Lowry was diagnosed twice in the last five days with thoracic outlet syndrome, a circulatory disorder that both doctors — one who [...]

The interesting case of Noah Lowry
Noah Lowry made 14 starts for the San Fransisco Giants in 2004 finishing the season with a 6-0 record. Not bad for a guy who had made just four relief appearances for the Giants in 2003.
In 2005 he went a step further making 33 starts and picking up 13 wins for a Giants team that [...]
