Los Angeles Angels designate Paul McAnulty for assignment
Larry Stone of The Seattle Times says the Los Angeles Angels have designated Paul McAnulty for assignment to make room for Maicer Izturis who was activated from the disabled list.
McAnulty, 29, hit .136/.174/.273 in 8 games for the Angels this season.
