Audio: Craig with Ken Silverstein on 92.3 WFAN – 1/21/2012
I was on for a few minutes talking Indians and Cavs with Ken Silverstein at 92.3 the Fan. We talked a bit about Kyrie Irving and his development so far. We talked about the Cavs needing to make it to the lottery, not the playoffs. Finally we talked about Fausto Carmona and his overnight change into Roberto Hernandez Heredia in the Dominican Republic.
Here is the evidence.

AL Central Notes: Twins, Royals, Pena, Kotchman
Earlier today we learned that 28-year-old Fausto Carmona is actually 31-year-old Roberto Hernandez Heredia, and that the right-hander might not be able to secure a visa to the United States anytime soon. MLB.com's Jordan Bastian says (on Twitter) that it's unclear if the Indians will be able to void Heredia's contract, plus he's not sure they would do that even if...

Dan Szymborski On The Chisox' White Flag II Trade
The last time the Chisox had a late-season purge like this it was 1997, with the consequence that the Giants got Wilson Alvarez, Danny Darwin, and Roberto Hernandez, while the White Sox got Keith Foulke, Bob Howry, Lorenzo Barcelo, Ken Vining, Mike Caruso, and Brian Manning. The '97 Giants actually finished first, 90-72, two games over the Dodgers, while the Chisox finished 80-81...

Roberto Hernandez Forgot What Year It Is
In the 5th inning Todd Kalas did one of his “sideline” reports, in which he interviewed Rays bullpen coach Bobby Ramos. But what was really interesting about the interview is who was sitting behind Ramos. Original Devil Ray Roberto Hernandez. And he was rocking the old school Devil Rays cap…

Last night I completed a post in which I thought the Mets last spot in the bullpen should go to a veteran leader. Now I'm not one for bringing in older players but I think guys like Darren Oliver and Roberto Hernandez serve a purpose, of calming everyone down during rough times. Who knows better ...

What has this World come to: Jeromy Burnitz holding up Roberto Hernandez Deal to the Yankees
The Pirates are insisting the Yankees take on Jeromy Burnitz and his 6.7 million dollar salary as part of any Roberto Hernandez deal. Burnitz is hitting .227. It's amazing that NY will have to take on a second less than average player just to acquire the first one, although Burnitz could be fun for a few games trying to hit bombs over the short right field porch.
