Philadelphia Phillies Minor League Player and 18-Year Professional Baseball Veteran Retires
Ronnie Belliard, a former All-Star second baseman who played for six major-league teams throughout his career, announced his retirement from the game today. Belliard had signed a contract with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, earlier this season.

Phillies Sign INF Belliard to Minor League Deal
Per Phillies MLB.com beat reporter Todd Zolecki, the Phillies have signed soon-to-be 36-year-old infielder Ronnie Belliard to a minor league deal.
In 13 seasons, Belliard has played for six teams. (Milwaukee, Colorado, Cleveland, St. Louis, Washington, Los Angeles Dodgers) He was an All Star in 2004 with the Indians.
Not too sure what Belliard has left in the tank, but with the Phillies...
