Orioles invite Galarraga and Paulino to Spring Training
The Baltimore Orioles have agreed to minor league deals with free agents pitcher Armando Galarraga and catcher Ronny Paulino and invited them to Spring Training. Galarraga, a 30 year old right-hander, is best known for throwing a near perfect game for the Tigers in 2010. Galarraga’s chance at baseball immortality ended one out short when umpire Jim Joyce blew a call at first...

Orioles Sign Pat Neshek, Ronny Paulino
Couple of minor moves, as the Orioles added some minor league depth by signing reliever Pat Neshek and catcher Ronny Paulino.Neshek, now 31 years old, broke into the majors with the Twins back in 2006, posting two fine seasons as a middle reliever before getting hurt and missing most of 2008 and all of 2009. He came back somewhat less effective, showing worsening control (in 2011...

Should the Mets grab a veteran catcher...
I know the team already put this to bed, but I'm still not convinced of Thole/Nickeas and there apparently are some veteran catchers. Don't get me wrong I would rather have had Pudge five years ago but on a minor league deal to see what he has left what would be the harm. I don't have any interest in the rest but I would definitely give Pudge a chance especially when Nickeas is...

Mets To Make Move On Ronny Paulino Today
The Mets must make a decision as to whether to tender catcher Ronny Paulino a contract by today's non-tender deadline. As we reported back on November 28th, the Mets are quite displeased with Paulino's poor work ethic and lack of preparation, along with his laziness. If the Mets non-tender Paulino, the Mets catching tandem would most likely be Mike Nickeas and Josh Thole...

According to Andy Martino of the Daily News, some officials within the New York Mets organization were very displeased with the play and attitude of Ronnie Paulino this past season and are pushing to replace the arbitration eligible back-stop.

One & Done? Mets Might Look To Replace Ronny Paulino
It is being reported that the Mets were very disappointed in the attitude and performance of Ronny Paulino, whom they acquired last off-season. It is believed that Paulino "still didn't know the indicator sign in September - pitchers had to call to mound consistently - bad game caller too." If true, which it is being reported by Mike Silva, that is totally inexcusable...

Ronny Paulino to join team in Philly
Baring any other issues Mets catcher Ronny Paulino will join the club after the National series when the team parks it in Philly for 3 games.
Paulino, was clear from the DL yesterday but since his latest muscle issue the Mets will have him play for the Bisons a couple of more games.
The Mets picked up Paulino since he crushes lefties. Of course he cant do much damage when he sits on the

He's Here: Ronny Paulino Arrives In Mets Camp
Free agent signee Ronny Paulino finally worked out his Visa problems and arrived in the Mets clubhouse Friday night. Paulino, whose arrival was hindered by Customs Agents in his native Dominican Republic, finally was permitted to enter the US and report to his new team, the New York Mets. It was easier getting little Carol Anne back from the Poltergeist than it was getting Paulino into Mets
