Adams' lefty power on display for Mets

Mets re-sign Russ Adams
Adams, 30, is a career .247 hitter in 286 games spanning five seasons, during which he’s played mostly shortstop, but also second base, third and left field.
He signed a minor-league deal with the Mets last season, and hit .264 with 16 HR in 108 games for Triple-A Buffalo.
