LHP Scott Eyre would be open to coming out of retirement if Phillies were interested
In a phone conversation with Comcast SportsNet (via John R. Finger of CSNPhilly.com), retired relief pitcher Scott Eyre would be receptive to a return to the Philadelphia Phillies if the team was interested. Eyre mentioned that no one from the Phillies organization has contacted him or his agent.
Eyre retired last winter, but as recently as last March, he was open to a comeback....
