Dbacks Want To Dump Green

Rumor has it the Dbacks want to move Shawn Green and his $9.5 million guaranteed salary next year. Green hasn't shown Arizona the power they were hoping for from him, and the crazy talented Carlos Quentin is nipping on Green's heals. This deal would have to be well orchistrated though, and the   more...

The Good, the Bald, And the Ugly

Bald is beautiful, according to the Mets...though Shawn Green looks like a milk jug with those dumbo ears. Even vets like Tom Glavine got in on the fun. Kinda reminds me of when the Sox cowboy-up-ed in '03.

David Wright Doesn't Respect His Elders

A little video clip of David Wright imitating Shawn Green trying to catch a fly ball. Green seems to think it's funny, or at least he's pretending to.

Shawn Green to the Yanks???

Being that money isn't an option for the Yankees, this deal makes a lot of sense. The Diamondbacks would love to move Green and his large salary and probably wouldn't ask for much in return...which is good because the Yankees don't have that much to offer. Green is scheduled to make $9.5 Million   more...

Mets Could Still Add Alou

According to Jon Heyman at Sports Illustrated, some Mets officials still hope to trade for Moises Alou even with Shawn Green already in the fold. An independent source of mine has verified that given Cliff Floyd's inability to stay healthy, the Mets would still like to add Alou.

Electrified in Philly: Phillies Win, SWEEP Mets Despite Blowing Two Leads

1st Baseman Ryan Howard, leftfielder Pat Burrell and centerfielder Aaron Rowand staked the Phillies to a 5-0 lead after 3 innings, but it took 9th inning hitting and base-running heroics by rightfielder Jayson Werth and pinch hitter Tadahito Iguchi to set the stage for 2nd baseman Chase Utley's   more...

Shawn Green's Spring Raising Flags

After a sub-par 2006 and a 1-18 spring, Shawn Green will enter the season looking over his shoulder. Not only is Lastings Milledge waiting in the wings, but so is uber prospect Carlos Gomez. Don't be surprised if Green isn't the team's starting RF come September.

My Team Can Beat Your Team

Spring training officially begins tomorrow, albeit only pitchers and catchers reporting. Even with teams gearing up for the regular season there are still plenty of options on the free agent market for teams looking to fill a void, create competition, or build depth. I decided to give some of these   more...
