Where are they now- Shea Hillenbrand
One of our readers commented on my last ‘Where are they now’ series post, and wondered whatever happened to Shea Hillenbrand, Scott Hatteberg, and Jose Offerman. You asked for it, you get it! Today’s installment will be about Hillenbrand. Hatteberg and Offerman posts will be coming soon.
Shea Hillenbrand broke into the big leagues with the Red Sox in 2001. About...

Pessimism in Anaheim
True Grich seems a bit worried about the Angels moves this off-season:
The thing is even though the Angels have been highly successful, that doesn’t mean they’ll continue to be good to great every year. Let’s face it, they’ve stumbled here and there with some of their signings of players like Shea Hillenbrand, Steve Finley, Justin [...]

Shea is batting .246 with three homers and 18 RBIs in a paltry 175 at-bats.

The Gatorade Commercial
Have you seen the Gatorade commercial I'm in? I finally saw it a few days ago. The whole thing was set up through our front office. It's not like I tried out for the part. I'm on the mound and Derek Jeter's on first trying to steal. Garrett Anderson is playing first base, Howie Kendrick is at second and Shea Hillenbrand is in there too. Derek is a great guy. I'...

Manny Already Being Manny
*Manny Ramirez has already begun his antics. Excuses or not.
*An old HOFer pulled a hit-and-run in Arkansas.
*Blue Jays Manager John Gibbons got himself a one year extension. No word on whether GM JP Ricciardi was forced as fist-point.
