The Pittsburgh Pirates have called up relief pitcher Steven Jackson, and have purchased the contract of 29 year old left handed reliever Wilfredo Ledezma, filling their two open spots on the 25-man roster. To make room for Ryan Church, the Pittsburgh Pirates have designated right handed pitcher Steven Jackson for assignment. The 40-man roster is currently at 40 after these moves and the addition of Brandon Jones earlier today.
