More on Buchholz and the Mets
Photo by Michael BaronI found it interesting that the Mets activated Taylor Buchholz from the 60 day disabled list. After losing almost the entire season to depression the team could have easily justified out-righting him and hoping to resign on a minor league deal or even moving on altogether. The 29 y/o right hander will cost the team under 1M to keep and maybe showing him the...

Sox Corner The Market On Guys Named Buchholz
The Red Sox claimed reliever Taylor Buchholz off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays yesterday. And yes, he's related to Clay, as he confirmed with Nick Carfardo last season that they are distant cousins.Too bad Horst (pictured) isn't still around, as the Sox could have gotten him on the payroll somehow and made it a Buchholz Hat Trick.
