Astros sign OF Buck to minor league pact
The Houston Astros signed outfielder Travis Buck to a minor league contract Wednesday.
Buck appeared in 50 games with the Cleveland Indians this past season, batting .228 with two home runs and 18 RBIs.
The 27-year-old Buck has a .246 career batting average with 20 home runs and 89 RBIs in 220 career games over parts of five seasons.

Indians officially sign Travis Buck
According to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian, the Cleveland Indians have officially signed outfielder Travis Buck to a split contract. Bastian first reported the Minor League deal on December 20.
